TU Rare Book Collection copy 2, RBR622: A long description is written regarding a unique Berit-Milah: The Mohel had the opportunity to convert an unnamed but (according to the writing) noted scholar and priest at Dessau on Friday, 17 Heshvan (24 October) 1755. According to the protagonist's admission, he had been born Jewish but was kidnapped and raised in a monastery, where he 'grew to greatness in his studies, and became a noted professor there (i.e. Dessau)'; among his expertise, he is recorded to have become a great expert in Judaic works. Finally, on the aformentioned date, he desired to return to Judaism (likely after hearing about his forced baptism in his youth). The ceremony was presided by 'the learned Gumprüch', and a 'R' Süsskind, son of S.'; the text finishes with a prayer for the Mohel's children remain Jewish and Torah Scholars.
