- Second inscription on second free-end:זה הספר איך פארקויפטען | פאן מיינעם אנקאל נטע אווי פאן | ביום ד' ה' אדר בשנת תקע"ח | לפ"ק - transl. "This volume I bought from my uncle Nota, now on | Wednesday, 5 Adar 5578 (Wed., 11 Feb. 1818)". Inscription on third free-end: Nota ben Lipmann Grombach; this is almost certainly the son of the earliest inscriber, and the "seller" on the second inscription. - According to subsequent inscriptions, the third inscriber lived in Beerfelden in the Odenwald area of Hesse, Germany.
