Yitshak ben Moshe writes his name in all of the volumes (see images) (Martina) I read: יצחק בן משה השוכן פה בערג הוידן "Yitzhak ben Moshe dwelling here in Wieden-Berg (or Wiedenberg) or maybe on the mountains (?) of Wieden" Could be either Wieden-Berg in Germany (there are several places called in this way) or other places named Wieden in Germany (there's also an area called Wieden in Wien). Chaim Meiselman writes: This is Berghausen in the Rhineland. It also supports the other FP I just wrote that the volume was in Kleves. also, a nice twist below on Eccl. 1-11: אין זכרון, לראשונים; וגם לאחרונים שיהיו, לא-יהיה להם זיכרון--עם שיהיו, לאחרונה. It looks like the owner added the dates of his children's births - can you help? date this footprint using the children's birth dates?- Owner
