Address line is to 'R. Eizik', dated 1 Iyyar 1761 in Kurów (Poland); signed Arye-Leib T. ben Aharon ha-levi. text of the letter: פה ער"ח [ערב ראש חודש] אייר תקכ"ב ל"ק קאריוו () ושלום, לרבתי מוהור"ר איצק נר"ו להודיע כתבי מן כ"ה הלר לא ראיתי מאות (?) על העד השלוח לי מאחת -- [זולתי?] אם מנודה (?) א"קטנה כבתחילה הקטנה כמעט לא הגיעה לשעת-- לחודה של מחט סכנה (?) . לכן שאלתי את האשה את לא שמע— לעצמי הרב המותרים. וא"כ הוא תלה כבתיו. אם --- שלא תראה עוד. וע"ד שאלאת השני. למה הוא (?) תשאל עוד. אם יש לו ---- מן הרב המותר זצ"ל. כדי הוא להמתן עליו. אחת פראטאקאלין ששלח לי הנה הוא (?)
