Transl.: This volume is owned by ... | Haim, and his son A.A. | David Eshlei (?), resident of 'Leipnik' (Lipník nad Bečvou, Czech Republic), | although the sages said it is prohibited to write on (holy) books | but the books that I own (in my hand, lit.) it is permitted, so they aren't stolen etcetra (sic!). The family surname is written with a flourish that has affected the words, because of ink blotting. Browning ink inscription, ca. 1850.- Owner
