TU Rare Book Collections copy: In original binding, with deteriorating spine. Missing a number of leaves at the opening; due to the unadorned nature of the volume, the bibliographic information was more difficult to ascertain. TU copy with pasted manuscript notes for missing leaves or fragments of leaves. - The notes in Yiddish and Hebrew preceding elements of the prayers are unmistakably Landau's, and the typeface is clearly Prague 1820-1840. The custom is Ashkenaz (and not Polish-Bohemian), this is for certain. What is known is that Moses Landau printed a number of miniature Mahzorim at Prague 1830-1837, and this one shares many elements with complete ones. The missing elements (Selihot and Kinot) were printed separately by Landau during this period. - This volume was discovered in the uncatalogued materials during November 2017, cataloged March 2018.- Owner
