This is another example of two tractates bound together and each came from different printing runs of the Bomberg Talmud. This tractate, Pesahim, is bound together with tractate Megillah. Megillah was printed in Bomberg's second printing run. Tractate Pesahim has the name of the perek in the middle of each page (both recto and verso). Tractate Megillah has the markings of the second printing with the page number on the left of each recto page, along with the title of the tractate to the right of the page number, the number of the perek is to the right of that and then the name of the perek. On the verso page one finds only the perek name to the right of the perek number. In Pesahim we only find the page numbers on the recto page, left side, and the name of the perek at the top of both the recto and verso pages. More important--what distinguishes this copy and what makes it look to have travelled bound with Megillah is the handwritten reference marks to biblical verses cited in the Gemara. Unfortunately, they are cut off as this copy has been rebound and the pages cut, and they are only at the beginning of the two tractates. The markings referring to biblical verses and parallel Talmudic passages are in a different handwriting in the second chapter of Megillah--far clearer and easier to read--also they are not cut off. But they are in no other chapter of Megillah. It is as if one person studied this chapter and not the others. Someone has put numbers in pencil to number every line for some reason--as if to take notes and match the line numbers with additional notes, but we no longer have those notes or anything to explain the pencil marks.- Owner
