Note that this tractate can be found bound together with tractates, Bekhorot, Arakhin, Temurah, and a final volume which Bomberg intended to be bound together as indicated by the title, Masekhet Meilah, veKinim, veMiddot, veTamid as well as with Mishnayot Meseder Kodashim with the commentary of Maimonides to the mishnah. In most other collections I have seen tractates are bound separately, except for the smaller tractates like Meilah and Kinim, Middot and Tamid that were originally intended by Bomberg to be bound together. All of the tractates bound together with Keritot have a neat and legible handwriting throughout the margins of almost all of the pages. Some of these comments are quotes from the Yerushalmi, some are Tosafot Hitzoniyot (Tosafot that Bomberg did not include on the page), some are corrections made between the lines. These handwritten notes match two copies that I saw at HUC JIR, Klau library, Cincinnati--Nazir and Nedarim. At one point the person who owned this copy of Bekhorot (and bound it together with the other tractates when he owned it) made similar notations in these other volumes. Some time before 1872 when the Columbia copy was sold to Temple Emanu-el in NYC, the copies were separated. For history of the collection of Hebrew books and manuscripts at Columbia see: http://library.columbia.edu/locations/rbml/units/Hebraica/history.html Note that the call number on the slip inside the book is B893.1NL, but should be 1NI. I have recorded it here correctly as the outside box has the right call number.- Owner
