- Notes
- See-- Kirschstein, Salli." Encyclopaedia Judaica. . Encyclopedia.com. 3 Sep. 2017 Kirschstein (1861-1935) was a German collector of Jewish art and books. He donated much of his collection to Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati. The catalog, Die Judaica Sammlung (1932), contains a record of what he owned. There is a typo here in Yevamot. The title page says it was printed in 1522, but it is a second edition, printed later. There was a note in the copy at HUC indicating that this was not labeled correctly--the title page is wrong.
