Inscription reads: אני יהודא לומברוזו מעיר ורונה Verso of the colophon page has many isncriptions by members of the Lombroso family - Neuda, Abram, Juda, David, Samuel - and lists the years 1734 and 1753, but unclear to which person they refer. Can you help identify these individuals? Clarification from Fabrizio Quaglia: On the verso of the colophon owner’s note by Juda Lombroso in Ladino: “Itu [?] libro Dime Juda Lombroso”. It’s not “Neuda” but “Yeuda”. Juda Yehuda and Leon (see on the verso of the colophon) are the same person. A “Leon q. David Lombroso” was a middleman in Verona in 1760, cf. Anon., Un documento dell’epoca veneta, “Archivio storico veronese. Repertorio mensile di studii e documenti di Storia patria”, X, 1881, 7, p. 79. “Q.” stands for quondam (“deceased”). Abram Lombroso was a son of Juda (see at the right margin on the verso of the colophon). David Lombroso owned a copy printed in Germany in 1751 of the fifth volume of Mishnayot seder Zeraʻim [-Ṭohorot], cf. La biblioteca della comunità ebraica di Verona.
