- The first line may have an additional place name but it is badly effaced — perhaps: קנין כספי א? קניתי לי פה ? The purchaser is almost certainly the same as Eliakim b. Hoshea Finzi who sold BL MS Harley 1528 in 1516; also owned father’s MS of Sefer ha-hinukh, written 1508 (ÖNB Cod. hebr. 189); ms of Agadot ha-talmud (Montefiore Library, Ms. 88); and a halakhic anthology (Parm. 3823). His son, Shlomo b. Eliakim Finzi, composed Mafteah ha-Talmud in 1552 (Bodl. MS Mich. 274), printed in 1627.
