- It seems possible this copy was in the poses- sion of the Chassidic Rabbi Eliezer Horowitz (1740-1806), author of Noam Megadim. The recto of the original, now loose, fl yleaf, states that the Kedushath Levi belonged to “Ha-Rav..Peri Tzaddik, Mofeth Ha-Dor, Nezer Yisrael, Benon shel Kedoshim...Eliezer. The verso has other names, but contains the name “Horowitz,” separately, on the upper left corner. Chassidic Rabbi Eliezer Horowitz lived in Tarnogrod, Poland.
