The Italian word incanto means “auction”. Yiṣḥaq Refaʼel b. Eliša‘ Miḵaʼel Finṣi ṣ (Isac Finzi; 1728-1813) of Ferrara was rabbi in several Piedmontese towns and since the beginning of XIXth century in Padua, see A. Salah, no. 394, pp. 249-252.
