- Evidence description
- Within this copy of Masekhet Yoma I found a piece of newspaper that had the name A. M. Luncz on it, Jerusalem. The newspaper was in German.
- Notes
- A piece of newspaper in the book mentions A.M. Luncz. The question for me is whether this piece of newspaper suggests that A. M. (Abraham Moses) Luncz viewed this copy or whether the person who owned it lived at the same time as Luncz, using this piece of paper as a book mark. Abraham Moses Luncz lived in Jerusalem from 1868 until his death in 1918. He started and ran a printing press, which reflects a great interest in Jewish books. "Luncz, Abraham Moses".
