There is a note in this copy of Masekhet Nazir that describes Daniel Bomberg's contribution to printing the Talmud and states at the bottom that this copy was a gift of the Kohut family. It was clearly typed by the Yale cataloguers when the Beinecke transferred their collection from cards in a card catalogue to a computer database. Since there were too many notes on these cards to enter into the catalogue, Ray Clemens at the Beinecke informed me that these notes were therefore typed up on pieces of paper and stuck into volumes of the Bomberg. Many have probably been lost but the card catalogue is still at the Beinecke for double checking.- Owner
