CAJS Rare copy 2 with purchase inscription to Abraham Joseph Solomon Graziano, Modena, from Avraham ben Yehoshuaʻ Cuneon, 27 Marḥeshṿan [5]406 (Thursday, 16 November 1645): "ב'ה' א'י'ש' ג'ר' אנכי בארץ... מודה אני אברהם קונייון בכמר"ר יהושע קונייון אני מכרתי ספר האבודרהם זה לר' אברהם גראציאנו בכמה' אברהם גראציאנו זצ"ל בחמישי בשבת כ"ז לח' מרחשון הבע"ט ... ונתחלף לו דמי מונאקו... פה מודינא ביום נחרט ושנה היום, ובכל שריר וברור ..." in Graziano's hand; seller signed below. Inscription below text on final page. From Fabrizio Quaglia: As for the purchase note written by rabbi Graziano on the colophon, it is the following מודה אני אברהם קנטון בכמ' יהושע קנטון איך מכרתי ספר האבודרהם זה לר' אברהם גראציאנו בכמה' מרדכי גראציאנו זצ"ל בחמישי בשבת כ"ד יומ' לחדש טבת ת''ו לפ''ק, וקבלתי ממנו דמיטוייו ונתחלף לו דמי אונאתו ולראית המאת חתמתי שמי פה מודינא ביום נחרט וחדש הנ''ל, והכל שריר וברור וקים לוי''א On the line below, signature of the seller who confirmed the sale occured in Modena and approved it אני אברהם בכ''ם יהושע קנטון הנ''ל מודה ומאשר In short words Graziano acquired this book on the day fifth 24 Ṭevet 406 of the minor reckoning (Thursday, 11 January 1646) from Avraham b. Yehošua‘ Qanṭon (Abram son of Salvador Canton). He was a šoḥeṭ in Modena. In 1663 Canton donated a series of rabbinical sentences to Graziano, that are in the ms.
