- I can make out his name and title, Konigsberg is very prominent.
- Notes
- The inscription: Full hand of "Von Eign. (Eigentum) Rabbiner A.L. Rabbiner Levinn Konigsberg" inscribed with side-hand cursive, clearly the first signature on the leaf. A subsequent Footprint will be composed for the later Hebrew inscriptions on the page. This confirms the account that Levin was appended to his name. 1745 was the year Ba'al Hapardes was made Chief Rabbi of Konigsberg, and because of his previous poverty (which is documented) I assume he wouldn't have owned this item previously.
