- Notes
- Offenburg suggests booklist most likely from circa 1482.The earliest known edition like this description is from 1482. However, that edition uses the term "defus" for print and our booklist maker/owner uses the Italian "istampa." Thus, Offenberg suggests the possibility of an earlier Pentateuch with commentary and targum and thus the possibility that the booklists dates to the period 1475-1482. (Offenberg, p. 47). Mantua is given as a potential North Italian city.
