- Evidence description
- This unbound copy of Talmud Yerushalmi Shekalim along with Rambam's (Moses Maimonides) commentary on the Mishnah, which appears first unlike in other editions printed by Bomberg, was given in memory of George Alexander Kohut, to Yale by his stepmother, Rebekah Bettelheim Kohut.
- Notes
- I am not sure whether George Kohut ever owned this unbound copy of Talmud Yerushalmi Shekalim. It was donated to Yale in his honor, probably by his stepmother who survived him by two decades. He died in 1933 and she in 1951.
