- Evidence description
- 1609 inventory of Lumley collection, Trinity College, Cambridge MS O.4.38, as reprinted and annotated in Sears Jayne and Francis R. Johnson, eds. The Lumley Library: The Catalogue of 1609. London: Trustees of the British Museum, 1956, item 122, p. 49
- Notes
- Jaynes and Johnson say "probably" this is now BL 1046.b.2. The BL catalog entry indicates ms notes. WORTH CHECKING. In the 1596/1609 inventory this is together with a book by Christophe de Cheffontaines, also published Antwerp 1575. According to Jaynes and Johnson, this is BL 1008.a.6. (http://primocat.bl.uk/F/?func=direct&local_base=PRIMO&doc_number=017647552&format=001&con_lng=eng) In other words, it would seem that the books were originally bound together but were separated at some point in the British Library and received different shelfmarks.
