- on title page, note "Matanah le-kloyz be-Altona"; stamp on title page and at end "Beit ha-Midrash Kloyz KK Altona" According to the YIVO Encyclopedia article on s.v. kloiz by Elchanan Reiner, the Kloyz in Altona was established circa 1690. On the next verso page after the title page is a name: Gumpel ha-Rofe; on the following verso page, it reads "son of m.h.r. Yehuda Leib Shnabel?" So possible donor to Altona Kloyz is Gumpel son of Judah Leib Shnabel. Dina Roginsky and Adam Shear worked on this, Yale, May 6, 2024.
