- Notes
- James Lawson became a student at St. Andrews in 1559. He graduated sometime between 1560 and 1567. By 1567 he was a tutor in Paris. Possibly bought the book in Paris or was given the book by another St. Andrews graduate John Gordon when Gordon left Paris in 1568. He returned to England in 1569 and then to Scotland. He was a Hebrew tutor in St. Marys College, St. Andrews, very briefly, and then moved to Abderdeen; colleague of John Knox and Reformer.
