Evidence description
Stamped JTS accession number on endpapers in the front and back of the book; collation slip inserted between front paste-down and first free endpaper of the copy held by the Beinecke.
Notes
One of the front endpapers and one of the back endpapers bear the typical JTS accession number stamp, in this case, "72046." According to the copy's collation slip, tipped in between the front pastedown and first free endpaper, the copy was a "duplicate, sold, from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York (Elkan Adler collection)." The book was probably re-bound after the acquisition by JTS, and therefore does not bear Adler's bookplate.
