Information for this footprint comes from Fabrizio Quaglia: On the title page, cursive Hebrew signature, Italian script, אי"ש ג"ר אנכי בארץ, חאו"ע (“Iš Ger [acronym of A.Y.Š. Gr. = Avraham Yosef Šelomoh Graṣiano/Graziano], I am a stranger in the earth, a reproach of men and despised by the people”); בארץ אנכי is from Psalms, 119:19; ע"חאו is the acronym of עם ובזוי אדם חרפת, from Psalms 22:7. On folio 108r, cursive Hebrew signature, Italian script, אי"ש ג"ר, אנכי בארץ (“Iš Ger, I am a stranger in the earth”). Marginal glosses by rabbi Graziano on ff. 25v, 27v, 46v, 50v, 58r, 103r; his maniculae on ff. 26r-v, 62v. In 1648 Graziano bought this book (with צדק שערי and פירוש עם היצירה ספר (for five Modenese lire from the legal guardians of the estate of the late Samuel Portaleone, i.e., rabbi Miḵa’el Eliša‘, son of the late Mošeh Malaḵ Modena and Menaḥem, son of the late rabbi Geršon Sanguini, probably both from Modena (cf. Moscow, The Russian State Library, Ms. Guenzburg 343, at p. 20 that is the folio 123v in the total number of leaves of this ms., below). Marginal glosses in cursive Hebrew, Italian script, by a later owner on ff. 21v, 34r (who penned in Italian “Votarelo!” corresponding to the printed name בוטארילו משה, namely Mošeh Boṭarel or Boṭarello, a 14th-15th-century Spanish commentator of Sefer Yeṣirah), 35r, 65v, 88v. On f. 37v there is a marginal bibliographical notice written in cursive Hebrew, 19th-century Ashkenazic script by the same hand who on the recto of the front flyleaf of the whole volume (preceding B 866) described the three books corresponding to Kaufmann B 866-868. Marginal gloss on f. 58r by a different Italian hand.- Owner
