Information for this footprint comes from Fabrizio Quaglia: On the verso of the title page may be rabbi Mortara wrote a long bibliographic note in cursive Hebrew, 19th-century Italian script, concerning this book, in which were mentioned the important reference texts Šem ha-Gedolim (“The Name of the Great Ones”) by rabbi Ḥayyim Yosef David Azulai (1724- 1807) of Jerusalem and Paḥad Yiṣḥaq (“The Fear of Isaac”) by rabbi Isacco Lampronti (1679-1756) of Ferrara, as well as the author’s introduction to this responsorial book, which is on folio 2r. Marginal note on f. 95v in Italian, also probably by Mortara: “L’ateista deve restare insepolto, quando non fosse p.[er] rispetto all’onore dei buoni Parenti. / Cons.[?]a 49”. On f. 97r Mortara (?) wrote a marginal bibliographic note in cursive Hebrew, 19th-century Italian script.- Owner
