Information for this footprint comes from Fabrizio Quaglia: On the last printed page, close to the printer’s mark, owner’s Latin note “Capuccinorum Carpi”. There are Latin marginal glosses on the Latin text together with calculations by an unidentified hand. Latin glosses are rare on the Hebrew part of the text. We can notice many cursive Hebrew marginal glosses on the Hebrew text as well as calculations by an unidentified hand. Between pages 6 and 7 the same anonymous Jewish owner wrote on an added leaf החשבון למצוא סכוס השנים מביראת העולם עד היום הזה שאנו בו השנת חמשת אלפים ושלש מאות וארבעים ושמנה (“The calculation to find the sum of the years from the beginning of the world to this day in which we are. The year is five thousand three hundred and forty-eight [C.E. 1588]”), he added also four leaves (two of them small in size) in Hebrew concerning the Jewish calendar between pages 152 and 153; perhaps he also wrote the Hebrew inscription on the cover.- Owner
