- According to the inscription on one of the pages at the end of this copy of En Yisrael, Friar Luigi of Bologna states--"Visto correcto...I saw and corrected..." According to Fabrizio Quaglia, Luigi was a converso of St. Dominic’s Order and a censor since 1591 in Modena, Cremona and Casale Monferrato. In 1599 he came to Modena, and later he was in Reggio Emilia and Ancona. According to his inscription here in this copy of the En Yisrael he was from Bologna but censored this book in Mantua.
