the manuscript for sale included paragraphs sketching Heller's work on Behaye on the Torah (which he later refers to as a commentary called Tuv ta'am; whether this is that, we don't know). The scarcity of this volume, even during the lat 16th-early 17th century, is demonstrated. The question remains as to where Heller was where he encountered the book ; the date and place is my guess, being that this appears to be something he wrote in his days of yeshiva study. Heller studied in Friedberg in der Wetterau at the yeshiva of Jakob Ginzburg; the position in Bavaria may have enabled him to peruse Hebrew books in monastery or church libraries (such as Freibourg, Munchen, or Augsburg/Ulm).
