- Vercelli presumed based on similar family names. Uncertain. Transcription by Fabrizio Quaglia: כי חנני אלקים וכי...לי גם זה מנחלת א מגדול נתן בני ואחי בפני...אני בן ציון קרמי... ) "By the mercy of God and by ... to me, too, this is a large estate that my son and brother gave to me ... ..., I am Ben Ṣiyyon Qarmi”). And in the same ink and calligraphy as on the upper side of title page אשר קרמי. Finally Ben Ṣiyyon Qarmi added the note: תפילות נוזבתים למי אשר יהיה לו רוחמנים ע"ת that I doubtfully translated “And this and also two prayers to be prayed for him who will have mercy on condition”.
