- Selden books that were duplicates of Bodleian owned books were given to Gloucester Cathedral Library in 1659. In most cases, there will be an extant copy of the same imprint in the Bodleian now with a Selden or Opp. add shelfmark. However, the only copy of the Basel 1581 edition in the Bodleian is at Opp. fol 1154 (Cowley p. 272) indicating that the Bodleian copy arrived in 1829. There are two other editions that the Bodleian holds Selden copies: Venice, 1524= KK 12 Art. Seld and Basel 1556 (with the title Yair Nativ) = FF 31 Art. Seld.
