Purchased from Nadir Books, March 2021, received April 2021. Rebound; binding modern cloth on board with leather spine in five parts. Spine title gold-stamped; three ornaments on spine parts. Darkening on title; book in fine condition. There is an odd burn-through on the final leaf (see photos) which doesn't affect other parts of the book; this may have been a fire from a candle, but generally those inflict more damage (including water damage from extinguishing the fire). Generally, censorship by burning meant that a tool (awl usually) was held in fire until glowing red, and then crossed over text, which burnt an exact space on the page. The content doesn't appear to be censorship material (would've been seen as offensive), so it is really unclear why this is here.- Owner
