Kislak copy formerly owned by Reike, widow of Rabbi Samuel Jakob Katz, Neustadt (inscription on cover adhesion), 1807. Formerly owned by Samuel Jacob Katz, Neustadt (inscription in German on front free-end), Samuel ben Jacob Sege"l (inscription in Hebrew on title). It must be maintained that this is Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany - near Mannheim. There are many Neustadts with many having Jewish histories - but this book is connected to the Bach family of Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Germany. Transcription of the Yiddish: דש סליחות גהעריט רייקה אשתו כ״ה שמואל כץ מניישטאט ווער שיא שטעללט דעם איזט איין דים עד מאג דיין הערראר גנעכט הייזגען איזט דיין רעכט היי׳[נט] יעצט? י״ט תשרי תקס״ח לפ״ק This Selihot is owned by Reike, wife of his honor, rabbi Shemuel Katz of Neustadt -- where she stayed until this time -- [from] your faithful servant - the time is now right - today is 19 Tishri 5568.
