We do not know who this Dr. Schwarz was. (For additional evidence of his activity at the then Stadtbibliothek Frankfurt, see Inc. hebr. 44 and Inc. hebr. 66.) We may conjecture he was Arthur Zacharias Schwarz (1880–1939), a recent PhD at the time, who might have been employed by Aron Freimann to assist him in the collation of recent acquisitions. Freimann later contributed an article to the Festschrift honoring Adolf Schwarz (Arthur's father) in 1917, and A. Z. Schwarz contributed to Freimann's Festschrift in 1935. - See image at: http://sammlungen.ub.uni-frankfurt.de/5357824, http://sammlungen.ub.uni-frankfurt.de/5358089- Owner
