Fabrizio Quaglia adds: Further down in the page there is a XVIth century purchase’s note beginning קנין כספי משה חזק יצ״ו שנת (“Bought with my money, Mošeh Ḥazaq, May his Rock keep him and grant him life, year […]”), ending with a Biblical tinge phrasing [...] / [ וזרעי וזרע זרעי עד סוף כל הד[ורות (“My seed and the seed of my race until the end of the generations [...]”). Mošeh Ḥazaq corresponds in Italian to Moise Forti; Ḥazaq is a surname mostly diffused in the Duchy of Mantua during the XVI-XVIIIth centuries, see ELVIO GIUDITTA, Araldica Ebraica in Italia, Torino, Società Italiana di Studi Araldici, 2007, p. 214. On the same page M. Ḥazaq wrote also אנסה הקלמוס בספר (“I will try the pen in the book”), twice, and the “mysterious” line תשרק צפעס נמלך יטחז והדג , usually written in full תשרק צפעס נמלך יטחז והדג בא , that is only the reversed Hebrew alphabet.- Owner
