This footprint has been identified by Fabrizio Quaglia, who provided the information below: Moses son of the deceased Solomon, who lived in Italy around the Sixteenth century. In fact, on the left upper side of Behinat ha-Olam title page appears in a Hebrew cursive script of XVI c. Italian kind: אשר חנן א' לעבדו משה יצ''ו בכמ שלמה זלה''ה איש ס' לורינצו חדר להווה כמ' בארצו ליא (“That the Lord granted [this book] to his slave Mošeh, his Rock should watch over him and let him live, son of the beloved master Šelomoh, may his memory live in the world to come, man from S. Lorenzo living to the present in Mombaroccio ...”). 'א is short for אלקים. S. Lorenzo is probably the town of S. Lorenzo in Campo located in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche region being in central Italy. מ' בארצו isמונטיבארוצו Monte Baroccio, name used until the Eighteenth century for the current town of Mombaroccio, that is, too, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino.
