Offenberg, Catalogue of Books printed in the XVth Century now in the British Library (BMC XIII), 2004, 98; transcribed by Birgit Mikus. msNote: De Rossi's note is followed by a note by the next owner, John Rogers, 46 Porchester Square, Penrose (Cf. the provenance of the second copy of the Bologna Pentateuch 1482, C.49.d.19). 'Purchased of the Venerable professor De Rossi, aged 88 a.D. 1829. It is the only copy on paper known to exist, except that in the Library of the Duchess of Parma.' This note is followed by five pages copied from De Rossi's Annales and an 'Index Alphabeticus parascharum sive Sectionum Legis quae apud Judaeos singulis Sabbatis leguntur' (one page). John Roger's bookplate and pressmark: 'Theology Part I.' on the first pastedown. Blank leaves of Britannica 1828 paper inserted where texts are wanting. Marginal chapter indications by Rogers.- Owner
