There are some marginal annotations, some of which refer to the reading of the Torah portions in the synagogue on Sabbath. On verso of last leaf there are some illegible Hebrew inscriptions, partly erased and damaged. On pastedown of the lower board, there is a printed number '17' that has been pasted on a piece of paper; perhaps a former sale catalogue number. source: Bod-inc Heb 21, Opp. add. 4° IV. 222* note: At the end of the book of Deuteronomy, there is an owner's inscription in Hebrew, written in square Ashkenazi script in brown ink, which reads: אני משולם קוצר יום ב׳׳י מייו שמב לפק (I am Meshullam Kotser, 1581). There are also a few other notes (textual comments) written by Meshullam, in square script and vocalised. The same hand has, perhaps added incipits to some biblical books in manuscript, in large square script letters in dark brown ink. On top of the first leaf there is a similar Hebrew inscription which may have been written by the same hand but since it has been partially erased, it is impossible to be certain of this.- Owner
