https://data.cerl.org/mei/02125162 source: Data from A. K. Offenberg, Catalogue of Books printed in the XVth Century now in the British Library (BMC XIII), 2004, 103-104; transcribed by Birgit Mikus. msNote: According to Yedner, p. 783, the British Museum originally had two copies of this edition. Apparently after 1898 (Proctor's index still mentions a second copy) it was tranferred to Elkan N. Adler (1861-1946). The copy is now in the library of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America at New York. One of the blanks of this second copy contained manuscript notes, which leaf was pasted in at the front of the copy described here. The text is in an early Sephardic hand and describes variant rules of slaughtering in the Jewish community of Rome. bindingNote: Bound in the British Museum bindery in gold-tooled light brown morocco. note: Bought in July 1857.- Owner
