Kislak Center copy inscribed with copious notes of a student of the author; inscriptions on front paste downs and front flyleaves. Added notes: The subject matter is a question that the author of Sha'agat Aryeh, R. Aryeh Loeb Gunzberg, poses on the sugiyah of lulav meha-'asherah (in the third chapter of the BT Sukah). Many of the author's students lived in eastern Poland and the Lviv and Ternopil areas, and the student writes that this volume is authored by the ga'on .... author of Shu.t. Peri tevu'ah; perhaps this was his latest work to be printed, in Nowy Dwór 1796. Perhaps about this time, author was rabbi in Kopczynice.- Owner
