The inscription reads: זה ספר הנחמד קבלתי במתנה גמורה ---גדול בתורה ---דוד בן מהור"ר ---דוד אפפנהיים -אנס -י"צו לזכרון -דוב במהור"ר הרב נתן היימאנס ז"ל להאיש אשר המלך חפץ ביקרו להיות ראש על עם גדול בארץ הנגב ה"ה ידידי וידיד מלכתו בן יהודי מלכתו וגזע מיוחס במוהר"ר משה לעוונסיטיין נרו יאירויזרח עד לזכרון השם יצליח דרכו וכל אשר יפנה יצליח אמן אמן אמן סלה סלה סלה עש"ק פרשת נח שנת וחייתו ורבי"ת וברכת ה" אלקי"ך לפ"ק Note this isn't a Rabbinical or Scholarly hand, from the platitudes and the non-following phrasing, plus the over-the-top accolades.
