CJS copy with long inscription on the title. This inscription is a donation record and a prayer to a certain synagogue in Sanaʽa, Yemen (the name of the synagogue has been erased). The owner composes a prayer that by this donation (and the merit of the learning of the Mishnah from the volume) an unnamed ailing person should merit a speedy recovery; the owner writes that he is donating volume 3 and 4 (CJS copy is only volume 3). The inscription is signed on Rosh Ḥodesh Nisan 5380 (April 1620). This owner's signature is effaced on the title page. Additionally, he records a variant of the prayer of the students of Rabbi Ammi ben Nathan (Tiberias and Babylonia, 3rd century, from the Babylonian Talmud, Berakhot 17a, "עולמיך תראה בחייך...") to be recited after study.- Owner
