- Formerly owned by Benedikt Hertz Dreyfus, Hamburg. The complete inscription reads: "שייך להאלוף הקצין הרב כהר"ר בענדיט שייאר סג"ל - Benedikt Hertz Dryfus, gang (?) Hamburg, Dryfuss -- Monseiur", approximately 1800. Translation of the Hebrew: Owned by the prominent noted Bendedt Sheier sega"l (i.e. a Levite). Note that his name likely was Shneur, not Sheier.
