Notes
The title page of the book bears the dates 1900, and it is called "Second Edition, carefully Revised and Corrected." However, it is impossible that the volume as a whole was printed in 1900, for the prayer for the Royal Family does not bless Queen Victoria, but rather King Edward and his family, who took reign only on January 22, 1901. Most likely, the date 1900 reflects an earlier edition, which the printers neglected to update.
