General Note Title contains an elaborate dedication to Philip Ernest, Count of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1584-1628). Although this was published after his death, it praises his entire Imperial House and Issue (der rehmse kaiserliche wirkliche geheimenrats, ve-yitnaseh adanutav lo u-legevirato ve-gam le-za'arotav 'im sarav ve-yo'atsav) of the House of Hohenlohe-Langenburg, and a wish for their continued rule. General Note Decorated Zodiac symbols at the end of the volume, in the prayer elements for the last day of Sukkot, 'Shemini Atseret'. General Note Title decoration: Architechtural design, with wavy columns and flora as decoration. A large scorpion dominates the top of the mantle-piece, while twin lions pose with a tree on the foundation; perhaps this is the symbol of Cancer, and the lions being both Gemini and Leo - hinting that the volume was completed in Sivan-Tamuz-Av of the year 479 (1719).
