'קול שחל, שירי אפרים לוצאטו, אזמיר [ברלין] תק"ן'. קרית ספר, 562-561. לטענתו, סטנוב מצא כתב יד ישן וחשב שהוא אלה בני הנעורים של הרמח"ל (משה חיים לוצאטו), אך למעשה מדובר במקור עלום אחר. ישנן שתי מהדורות שונות. על המהדורה המוקדמת יותר רשום שנת שירו (תקט"ז), וזו טעות, ואי אפשר לדעת מתי יצא לאור. המהדורה הבאה היא מתק"ן, ובה תיקן סטנוב את שגיאתו ולא ייחס את הספר עוד לרמח"ל, אלא לאפרים לוצטו, וגם הוסיף לו שיר שבו משבח הרמח"ל את ידידו אפרים לוצטו על שיריו.
