ВУЛЬФ Евгений Владимирович (1885, Симферополь – 1941, Ленинград), ботаник, историк и популяризатор науки. Учился на естеств. отд. Моск. ун-та (1903—06) и в Венском ун-те, к-рый окончил в 1909. Специализировался по ботанич. географии у проф. Р.Веттштейна. В 1914—26 зав. отд. ботаники в Никитском ботаническом саду (под Ялтой) и одноврем. в 1921—26 проф. Крымского ун-та. В 1926–35 заведовал организованной им секцией эфиромасличных растений во Всес. ин-те растениеводства в Ленинграде. Одноврем. с 1934 проф. и зав. кафедрой ботаники Ленингр. пед. ин-та им. М.Н.Покровского. Осн. науч. работы в обл. ботанич. географии, систематике растений Крыма, изучения растит. ресурсов, ист. географии растений. Автор сводок по эфиро-масличным, дубильным, красильным и лекарств. растениям, описаний отд. родов и семейств растений. Проводил иссл. в обл. географии растений на терр. СССР и др. стран земного шара. Подготовил к изд. классич. тр. естествоиспытателей И.Г.Кёльрёйтера и А.Гумбольдта и сделал к ним науч. комментарий.
