ABELEV Yuri Matveyevich (real name and surname - Lev Mordukhovich Yuda) (1897, Rogachev, Mogilev province - 1971, Moscow), civil engineer. Graduated from the Gomel city (1919) and the Moscow Higher Technical School (1929). From 1931 he worked at Vses. Institute of Foundations and Structures (since 1956 - Research Institute of Foundations and Underground Structures). One of the founders of a new direction in foundation engineering - construction on subsiding loess soils. The method and principles of construction on loess soils developed by A. in 1934–37 (with N.M. Gersevanov) were the basis of construction in the USSR and in pl. countries of the world. With the participation and consultations of A. on subsidence soils, many were erected. production - Bobrikovsky chemical plant, Zaporizhstal plants, Nikopol South-pipe plant, Volzhsky automobile plant in Togliatti, etc. Introduced creatures. contribution to the development of methods for the study of soils and construction on soft soils. Er absolvierte den Staat Gomel (1919) und die Moskauer Höhere Technische Schule (1929). Ab 1931 arbeitete er bei Vses. Institut für Fundamente und Bauwerke (seit 1956 - Forschungsinstitut für Fundamente und unterirdische Bauwerke). Einer der Begründer einer neuen Richtung im Grundbau - der Bau auf nachlassenden Lössböden, die von A. in den Jahren 1934 bis 1937 (mit N. M. Gersevanov) entwickelten Methoden und Prinzipien des Aufbaus auf Lössböden waren die Grundlage für den Bau in der UdSSR und in pl. Länder der Welt. Mit der Teilnahme und Konsultation von A. auf Senkböden wurden viele errichtet. Produktion - Chemiefabrik Bobrikovsky, Werk Zaporizhstal, Südrohrwerk Nikopol, Automobilwerk Volzhsky in Togliatti usw. АБЕЛЕВ Юрий Матвеевич (наст. имя и фам. – Лев Мордухович Юда) (1897, Рогачев Могилевской губ. – 1971, Москва), инженер-строитель. Окончил Гомельскую г-зию (1919) и МВТУ (1929). С 1931 работал во Всес. ин-те оснований и сооружений (с 1956 – НИИ оснований и подзем. сооружений). Один из создателей нового направления в фундаментостроении – стр-ва на просадочных лёссовых грунтах, Разработанный А. в 1934–37 (совм. с Н.М.Герсевановым) метод и принципы стр-ва на лёссовых грунтах явились основой стр-ва в СССР и во мн. странах мира. При участии и консультациях А. на просадочных грунтах возведены мн. пр-тия – Бобриковский химкомбинат, з-ды Запорожсталь, Никопольский южно-трубный, Волжский автомобильный в Тольятти и др. Внес существ. вклад в разработку методов исследования грунтов и стр-ва на слабых грунтах. Стал. пр.
