Начиная с 1924, Р. оформлял сов. выставки за рубежом: Междунар. выставка печати «Пресса» в Кельне (1928), Междунар. выставка в Париже (1937) (присуждена Гран-при); в 1940–50-е гг. создал ряд работ для выставок в Праге, Брюсселе и сов. павильона в Нью-Йорке (1959). В 1920-е гг. занимался также книжн. графикой. Работы, созданные им для Госиздата, изд-ва «Федерация», «Сов. писатель», «Молодая гвардия», отличаются лаконизмом, выразительностью. В 1960–70-е гг. Р. создал циклы полотен, посв. В.В.Маяковскому, «Окнам РОСТА», развитию авиации («Полет Уточкина», 1972), ряд картин на темы войны.
