Abteilung des Ashgabat Institute of Arts. 1972 verteidigte er Cand. dis. „Orchesterausgaben von M. Mussorgskys Oper„ Khovanshchina “. Seit 1976 arbeitet er in Leningrad. Kunst. Dozent, dann Assoc., Abteilung für Chorkunst in Vyssh. prof. Kulturschule; seit 1986 - am Institut für Geschichte und Kulturtheorie (seit 1990 prof.). Nach der Verteidigung der Dissertation. (1990) und die Reorganisation von prof. Schulen (Humanitarian University prof.) seit 1992 - Leiter. Rechtsabteilung. Osn. Richtung der Forschung. Arbeit rus. Musik und Musen. moderne Kultur Turkmenistan. Von Anfang an. 1980er Jahre beschäftigte sich auch mit der Geschichte von ihm. Musik in Russland. Autor von über 300 Publikationen, inkl. - Monographien über die Arbeit des Comp. N. A. Goleschanova (L., 1979), V. Mukhatova (M., 1980), A. G. Shaposhnikova (M., 1985).

After defending the doctoral dissertation. (1990) and the reorganization of prof. schools (Humanitarian University prof.) since 1992 - head. Department of Lawsuits. ГУРЕВИЧ Владимир Абрамович (р. 1947, Ленинград) музыковед. Сын музыковеда С.М.Хентовой. Учился игре на фп. с пятилетнего возраста. В 1954–65 занимался в средней спец. муз. школе при Ленингр. коне, по классу фп. М.Л.Авербух и М.И.Меклер. В 1965–71 – студент теоретико-комп. ф-та той же коне; окончил с отличием по специальности музыковедение под рук. проф. Ю.Н.Тюлина. С 1964 публиковал ст. в ленингр. прессе. В 1969–76 работал в Туркмении; преподавал в муз. уч-ще в Ашхабаде. С 1972 ст. преподаватель, зав. кафедрой Ашхабадского ин-та иск-в. В 1972 защитил канд. дис. «Оркестровые редакции оперы М.Мусоргского «Хованщина». С 1976 работает в Ленинграде. Ст. преподаватель, затем доц., кафедры хорового иск-ва в Высш. проф. школе культуры; с 1986 – на кафедре истории и теории культуры (с 1990 проф.). После защиты д-ской дис. (1990) и реорганизации проф. школы (Гуманитарный ун-т проф.) с 1992 – зав. кафедрой иск-ведения.Осн. направление иссл. работы рус. музыка и муз. культура совр. Туркмении. С нач. 1980-х гг. занимался также вопросами истории нем. музыки в России. Автор более 300 публикаций, в т.ч. – монографий о творчестве комп. Н.А.Голещанова (Л., 1979), В.Мухатова (М., 1980), А.Г.Шапошникова (М., 1985).
