ABRAMSKY Shmuel (* 1913 in Suwalki), Ethnograph. In seiner Jugend - ein aktives Mitglied. Kommunistische Partei Polens 1930 wurde er verhaftet und verbrachte ein Jahr im Gefängnis. In E.-I. seit 1934. Studierte bei ped. Seminar in Jerusalem, absolvierte Heb. un-t am selben Ort. War ein Löwenaktivist. sozialistisch Bewegung. 1938 zog er sich von bewässerten Aktivitäten zurück. Veröffentlichte Artikel und Forschung, gewidmet. ist. Geographie und Archäologie E.-I. Ed. "Enzyklopädien der biblischen Geographie".

Published articles and research, dedicated. ist. geography and archeology E.-I. Ed. "Encyclopedias of Biblical Geography".

Учился в пед. семинарии в Иерусалиме, закончил Евр. ун-т там же. Был активистом лев. социалистич. движения. В 1938 отошел от полит, деятельности. Опубликовал статьи и иссл., посв. ист. географии и археологии Э.-И. Ред. «Энциклопедии библейской географии».
